Shawn O'Kert, Owner
Shawn dedicated 25 years of his career to working for Walt Worthy of Worthy Enterprises. From small single-office remodels to major, complex hotel developments, he has been involved in a wide range of projects.
For the past 10 years with S&S Developments, Shawn has specialized in commercial building remodels and renovations. His projects have encompassed various building types, including retirement communities, hotels, retail spaces, medical facilities, and office buildings.
Shawn and his wife Sandi have been together nearly 30 years and live only a few blocks from where he was raised in the Spokane Valley. They are proud parents to their two adult children , Tate and Ashlyn.

Our History
Since 1989, working for prominent developer Walt Worthy, we have constructed over one million square feet of Class A office space throughout the Spokane area. Responsibilities also included overseeing the renovation of three multifaceted hotel projects: the Historic Davenport Hotel, the Hotel Lusso, and the Centennial Hotel. In addition to these renovations, we also built the Davenport Tower and Davenport Grand Hotels from the ground up. In total, this encompassed approximately 1,900 guest rooms, over 150,000 square feet of meeting space, 17 food and beverage outlets, and numerous other service areas for the hotels.
